Art auction donations

First off, I would like to thank in advance all my fabulously creative friends who have offered to donate their artwork to my upcoming silent art auction!
I recently picked up an amazing print by Cindy Jerrell that i simply ADORE! Thank you Cindy! You are a sweetheart for jumping in and offering me one of your amazing bugs
I also am calling out to all artists who wish to donate to the art auction. I am grateful to all of you. Any creation is accepted with a joyful heart- from photographs to dolls, jewelry to sculpture, paintings to shadowboxes and beyond.
If you would like to donate, please contact me at heathereve@santerineross.com if you have any questions! I will need all donations by July 15, 2011 so that I can properly promote the event and can make plans for displaying the work. I am currently finalizing the location and exact date for the auction and will post soon with the venue information.
If you are an Athens artist, i will gladly come by and pick up your donation at your convenience. If you are out of town or out of state, please contact me for an address to which you can send your donations.

Events to celebrate!

I am so very excited to announce that 2 of my events are now set in stone!
Crooning for the Cure will be taking place at Go Bar on Friday June 3rd from 8pm-2am! Dr. Fred has donated his karaoke magic to the evening and will be doing karaoke from 8pm-12pm. DJ Trey has also offered to donate his spinning power so that we can all dance together for the rest of the night! There will be a $5 cover and 100% of the money collected will go towards my 3 Day for the Cure fundraising goal! My dear friend Maggie even drew the event’s mascot for me- look for her on facebook!

Carnavale for a Cure is also official! This is going to be my grand finale, taking place on Saturday, October 8th at Little Kings. I already have performers lined up including some of Effie’s Club Follies, Pyrokinetics of Athens, a kissing booth (anyone want to help me build it?), the list of “on board but not in stone yet” is pretty extensive and i think this is going to be another amazing fundraising event!!! Cover will be $5- and there will also be raffle tickets for sale that night! If anyone wants to donate to the raffle, email heathereve@santerineross.com
